Pa Daly TD welcomes conviction following assault on Gardaí

Sinn Féin spokesperson on Justice, Pa Daly TD, has welcomed news that two people have been jailed following an attack on Gardaí in Ballyfermot in 2022.

Teachta Daly said:

“I welcome that two people have now been convicted of this appalling attack. This brutal crime was totally unacceptable.

“Our Gardaí do brave work every day as they serve communities to protect them and keep them safe. They all deserve to go about their work safely and without fear of an outrageous attack like this.

“The Justice Minister must ensure that communities can feel safe in Dublin and across the country.”
