‘No place for racism, hatred, discrimination and intimidation’ – Hargey

Sinn Féin MLA Deirdre Hargey said tonight that “there is no place for racism, hatred, discrimination and intimidation anywhere in our society”.  

The South Belfast MLA was speaking after she offered ongoing support and solidarity to the ethnic minority community today. 

Deirdre Hargey said:

“Today, I spoke with representatives of the ethnic minority community to offer our party’s ongoing support and solidarity.

“I reaffirmed my commitment to making our ethnic minority community, and all our people feel welcome, safe and respected in our society, and to recognise the important contribution they make to building the new Belfast.

“There is no place for racism, hatred, discrimination and intimidation anywhere in our society.”
