Murphy welcomes 300 new jobs at DailyPay

Sinn Féin MLA Conor Murphy has welcomed news that New York tech company DailyPay will create 293 new jobs in Belfast.

The party’s economy spokesperson said:

“It’s fantastic news that US tech company DailyPay will create almost 300 new jobs in Belfast by 2025.

“This is a major investment of £24 million which will significantly boost our local economy by over £12 million every year.

“DailyPay’s decision to expand their workforce of 100 people here is yet another clear sign of a major US company’s confidence in the talent of our workers, but also the growing strength of the north as a centre of excellence for many different areas of technology, and a key location for more economic development.

“Creating jobs and strengthening our economy is a top priority for Sinn Féin. We need an Executive formed now and an economy minister in place to provide leadership and ensure we seize the economic opportunities available to us.”
