MEP MacManus visits Ballina’s Jackie Clarke Collection

Sinn Féin MEP for Midlands Northwest, Chris MacManus, recently visited the Jackie Clarke Collection in Ballina alongside local election candidates Una Morris and Antonio Cafolla.

Speaking following the visit, MEP MacManus said:

“I was pleased to visit the Jackie Clarke Collection in Ballina and meet the team there as well as County Librarian Austin Vaughan. As always it was a very enjoyable visit and fascinating to see the wide range of items on display from hundreds of years of Irish history and to hear the stories behind them.”

“The Collection is a wonderful asset to Ballina as well as an educational resource, and so important in terms of our country’s cultural and national history.”

“I would like to commend the team there for their wonderful work and I would encourage people to visit if they get the opportunity.” ENDS
