Mason welcomes launch of Childcare Subsidy Scheme

Sinn Féin MLA Cathy Mason has welcomed the launch of the Childcare Subsidy Scheme.

Speaking following the portal launch, the party’s childcare spokesperson said:

“I welcome the opening of the Childcare Subsidy Scheme ahead of September.

“Transforming childcare was a day one priority for Sinn Féin and the Executive. This is a welcome first step in reducing the cost of Childcare.

“Those eligible for the scheme must register by the 20 August ahead of the September cycle of the scheme.

“I am determined to keep working with all parties to deliver high quality and affordable childcare.”
