Lend us your vote: Only Sinn Féin can keep Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael out of government – Pearse Doherty

Sinn Féin spokesperson Finance, Pearse Doherty, has told voters: If you want change, if you want Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael out of government, lend your vote to Sinn Féin.

He said: “Give Sinn Féin the chance to show that we can deliver for you, for your family and for your community.”

Pearse Doherty said:

“This election is a clear choice. Change is possible. The only way to change the government is to vote for Sinn Féin.

“This Friday will be your last chance for five years to fix the housing crisis and to change the government.

“We have never been nearer to achieving change. We are within touching distance. We can do this.

“I would say to those who want Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil out of government, if you want change, if you want these parties out of government, vote for Sinn Féin.

“If you are not a Sinn Féin voter, we are asking you to lend us your vote.

“Give Sinn Féin a chance to show that we can deliver for you, for your family and for your community.

“Only Sinn Féin can deliver more houses, better healthcare, and only Sinn Féin can tackle the cost-of-living crisis.

“A vote for Independents will not change the government.

“It will not bring our young people home. It will not stop them leaving.

“Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have normalised failure. They have normalised a record number of people on hospital trolleys, record homeless numbers, record rent increases, record house prices.

“Only Sinn Féin will create the change to invest in a better Ireland.

“This election is for you, this is for your future.

“We cannot let Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael lock you out of government.

“We cannot let Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael leave you not able to buy a home for another five years.

“We cannot let Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael abandon patients on hospital trolleys, leave our hospitals underfunded, houses unbuilt with house prices and rents rising.

“Only a vote for Sinn Féin will tackle the inequalities in society that are dividing Ireland today.

“Only a vote for Sinn Féin will bring the next steps to a united Ireland.

“I want to say to those who want Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil out of government but aren’t currently Sinn Féin supporters that in this election if you want change, if you want these parties out of government lend your vote to Sinn Féin.

“Lend us your vote, because it is only Sinn Féin who can keep Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael out of government.

“Lend us your vote to give us the chance to make life better for workers, families and communities.

“Vote Sinn Féin. Change this failed government.

“Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael want you to think that change is not possible.

“Let’s prove them wrong on Friday.”
