Intimidatory hate posters must be removed immediately – Hargey

Sinn Féin MLA Deirdre Hargey is seeking an urgent meeting with the PSNI on hate crime in South Belfast.

The South Belfast MLA said:

“Threatening posters erected in Finaghy over recent days are a disgusting attempt to create fear and stir up hate and must be removed immediately.

“There is no place for this in our society and it is not reflective of the people of Finaghy or South Belfast.

“I am seeking an urgent meeting with the PSNI to address the wider issue of hate crime in South Belfast but I am calling on the PSNI to ensure that these intimidatory hate posters are removed.

“We must all work together to build a safe, welcoming, and inclusive society based on equal rights and equal opportunities for all who live here.”
