Hazzard expresses condolences at death of young man from Hilltown

Sinn Féin MP Chris Hazzard has expressed his condolences to the family of a young man from Hilltown who died in Australia.

The South Down MP said:

“It’s devastating to learn about the tragic and sad death of young Lorcán Branagan from Clonduff.

“My thoughts are with his family, friends and the whole Clonduff community at this heartbreaking time.

“Lorcán was only twenty-six with his whole life ahead of him. This has left the entire community stunned and heartbroken.

“I have no doubt everyone will rally around Lorcán’s family in what will be difficult times ahead.”
