Gildernew welcomes vaccine roll out to 30-34 year-olds

Sinn Féin MLA Colm Gildernew has welcomed news that the COVID-19 vaccination roll out is being extended to 30-34 year-olds.

Colm Gildernew said:

“News that 30-34 year-olds will now be able to book their COVID-19 vaccine is very welcome.

“These vaccination slots will mainly be available in the vaccination centre at the SSE arena in Belfast and I look forward to the wider roll-out to this age group in the time ahead.

“Our vaccination programme is progressing well and, together with an effective find, test, trace, isolate and support system, offers the best protection against the pandemic.

“I would encourage everyone eligible for the vaccine to book now and get vaccinated to protect themselves and the wider public so we can keep moving forward.”
