Executive needed to deliver for all communities – Reilly

Sinn Féin MLA Aisling Reilly has said we need to see full implementation of Acht Gaeilge.

Speaking as today marks one year from Acht Gaeilge became law, the West Belfast MLA said:

“Today marks one year since Acht Gaeilge became law so we need to see its full implementation, including the appointment of a commissioner.

“There is an ever-growing backlog of issues that need to be dealt with as a result of one party’s reckless boycott of the Executive.

“Public patience has run out.

“We need an Executive restored immediately and local ministers working together to deliver on outstanding commitments and to support hard-pressed workers, families and communities.”
