Drimnagh residents bring housing protest to tonight’s Dublin City Council meeting – Cllr Daithí Doolan

Cllr Daithí Doolan said:

“Council tenants in Drimnagh are being condemned to live in unacceptable housing conditions. This is wrong and should be urgently addressed.

“Families are living in overcrowded, damp flats with leaking roofs.

“Residents from City Council’s Lissadel Maisonettes brought their protest to tonight’s Dublin City Council meeting.

“We are demanding that immediate action be taken to upgrade these homes. Dublin City Council management must, as a matter of urgency, carry out wholesale maintenance and repairs to these peoples homes.”
