Don’t miss deadline for Fibrus compensation claims – Kearney

Sinn Féin’s Declan Kearney has encouraged Fibrus customers to make timely compensation claims for loss of service due to disruptions to the network resulting from Storm Éowyn.

The South Antrim MLA said:

“During Storm Éowyn, there was widespread disruption to the Fibrus network leaving thousands of customers without service and causing major upset and inconvenience in rural areas across South Antrim and beyond.

“In response, Fibrus have launched a scheme to compensate customers who suffered loss of service as a result of these disruptions.

“Compensation is available for service interruptions lasting more than 2 days and claims can be submitted once service has been fully restored.

“Once a claim has been submitted, the customer will receive a confirmation email, followed by a further email advising the outcome of their claim. If approved, Fibrus will apply a credit directly to the claimant’s account.

“However, there is a deadline; claims must be lodged within 30 days of service being restored. I am therefore encouraging customers to complete their applications for compensation without delay to ensure their claims are received in good time.” CRÍOCH/ENDS

Details of how to claim, and the online application form can be found on the Fibrus website at: https://fibrus.com/compensation-claim/.
