Dolan welcomes pay parity announcement for civil service agency workers

Sinn Féin MLA Jemma Dolan has welcomed the announcement from Finance Minister Conor Murphy that agency workers in the civil service are set to get parity of pay and annual leave.

The Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA said:

“I welcome this announcement from Finance Minister Conor Murphy that agency workers within the civil service are to get pay parity and the same entitlement to annual leave as other colleagues.

“Agency workers play a key role within the civil service and it is important they have the same rights and entitlements as those they work alongside.

“This is a step forward for workers’ rights and equality.”
