Chris MacManus MEP meets with ‘Save Craggagh’, a campaign group

Sinn Féin MEP for Midlands Northwest, Chris MacManus MEP, recently met with ‘Save Craggagh’, a campaign group set up by local residents in Craggagh to oppose the expansion of forestry in their village.

Rose Conway-Walsh TD and local election candidate Donna Hyland also attended the meeting. Speaking following the meeting, MEP MacManus said that while Sinn Féin support sustainable afforestation, this proposed plantation would have a hugely negative impact on the local community and environment and that he and his Sinn Féin colleagues would continue to work with the campaign group. ENDS
