Bus and train drivers deserve fair pay and conditions – Boylan

Sinn Féin MLA Cathal Boylan has said striking Translink workers deserve a fair pay deal.

The party’s transport spokesperson said:

“Our bus and train drivers who are taking to the picket line for fair pay and conditions deserve our full support and solidarity.

“Savage Tory cuts have left our public services at breaking point and meant workers have not been offered a fair pay rise.

“We need a properly funded Executive restored now and parties working together to protect public sector workers and services from heartless Tory cuts.

“Public patience has run out. Workers cannot wait any longer.”
