Brogan welcomes extension of Covid-19 Childcare Temporary Closure fund

Sinn Féin MLA Nicola Brogan has welcomed the extension of the Covid-19 Childcare Temporary Closure fund.

The party’s spokesperson on children and young people said:

“The announcement that this support has been extended for the period January to March 2021 will help many hard-pressed childcare settings.

“It’s vital that childcare groups are able to provide a safe environment for children while also providing support to workers, families and those on the frontline.

“This announcement is very welcome and will help sustainability within the childcare sector going forward into next year.”
