Boylan welcomes plans to assist Tandragee 100

Sinn Féin MLA Cathal Boylan has welcomed Minister for Infrastructure John O’Dowd’s plans to assist the Tandragee 100.

The party’s infrastructure spokesperson said:

“I welcome Minister for Infrastructure John O’Dowd’s plan to proceed with resurfacing work later this year on a stretch of the A51 to assist with plans for the Tandragee 100 Road Race next year.

“I have been pressing the department for some time to have these works carried out and I am therefore glad to hear the minister’s announcement.

“This road race attracts huge numbers to the Tandragee area and is a boost for local businesses and tourism. This is a positive step towards delivering an event which the entire local community can enjoy.”
