Anderson welcomes announcement of training places in north west

Sinn Féin MLA Martina Anderson has welcomed the announcement of 20 new high-quality training places at FinTrU in the north west.

The Foyle MLA said:

“I welcome today’s announcement of 20 high-quality training places at the FinTrU North West Assured Skills Academy.

“This is an intensive training programme to learn the skills necessary for the businesses services sector and those who complete it are guaranteed an interview for FinTrU’s north west Centre of Excellence.

“FinTrU is already a significant employer in the north west and it is encouraging to see it is recognising the skills base which exists locally and planning further growth.

“This will create more opportunities for young people and provide a welcome boost to the local economy.”
