Liz Kimmins, originally from Barcroft but now living in Cloughogue is passionate about her Newry roots but even more passionate to be a champion for the people of Newry and South Armagh.
She has been a Sinn Féin representative since 2004, initially as a Councillor and, since the restoration of the Assem– bly in January 2020, as an MLA.
Liz has been pivotal in helping the people of Newry and South Armagh access a multitude of COVID supports includ– ing financial supports and with the delivery of food parcels locally.
She has also been a vocal champion of students, challenging three successive Economy ministers to provide ade– quate support to this sector.
As a dedicated community activist at heart, she is on the board of Governors of Rathore school and supports the great work they do.
Liz will work tenaciously to ensure the best standard of living for people across Newry & South Armagh.
