O’Neill expresses condolences on the death of Tommie Gorman

Sinn Féin Leas Uachtarán Michelle O’Neill has expressed condolences on the sad passing of former RTÉ journalist and political correspondent Tommie Gorman.

Michelle O’Neill said:

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of RTÉ’s former political correspondent Tommie Gorman.

“An award-winning journalist over many decades, he was invested both professionally and personally in our peace process and in reconciling everyone who shares this island.

“Today, we have lost a fantastic journalist and a good friend, and his family has lost a loving husband and devoted father.

“My thoughts are with his wife, Ceara, and his children, Joe and Moya and all his colleagues at RTÉ.

“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.”
