Sinn Féin have the backs of workers – MacManus

Sinn Féin MEP for Midlands North-West, Chris MacManus has said that Sinn Féin have the backs of workers.

MacManus was speaking at a SIPTU Trade Union European election hustings in Galway City.

MacManus said:

“Sinn Féin are a party for workers and families. From advocating to advance the rights of platform workers, to fighting for an EU minimum wage, which would benefit workers across Europe.

“My message at the SIPTU Trade Union hustings was a simple one. We in Sinn Féin have your backs. We have the backs of workers and will fight tooth and nail to protect and advance their rights.”

MacManus concluded by saying that Sinn Féin will be a voice for workers in the European Parliament:

“A strong Sinn Féin team of MEPs will be a strong voice for workers in the European Parliament. ENDS
