Cathal Boylan

Cathal Boylan MLA (Newry Armagh)

Cathal Boylan is a Sinn Féin MLA for Newry and Armagh. He was elected to serve as a local Councillor to Armagh City and District Council in 2005 and in 2007 he became an MLA.

Since then Cathal has become an integral part of the Sinn Féin team. In previous mandates he has sat on the Environment and Regional Development Committees.

In 2016 he was appointed as a member of The Executive Office Committee and as chair of the Standards and Privileges Committee. Cathal sits on the all Party Group on Autism and is vice-chair of the All Party Group for Epilepsy.

He is an experienced, respected and committed elected representative, recognised by all as a person who is keen to help deliver the very best for this constituency.
